Our Mission

•SaveSatellite supports schools that are governed by students, parents, and educators, not by Mayor Bloomburg's appointed officials.

•SaveSatellite believes that excellence is reached through public education, rather than the privatization of education and increased dependence on standardized testing.

•SaveSatellite advocates a community-drafted plan for the future of the Bronx Regional High School Building, and it opposes the unjust, unsafe, and ill-conceived proposal for the building drafted by the city's Panel for Educational Policy.
